Hardware Break Fix Data Centre Engineer - South London - £34K/£40K p.a. (dep on exp.) + Shift Allowance + Overtime + Benefits We are recruiting a Hardware Break Fix Data Centre Engineer to join a busy DCE team, the role will primarily involve providing Server hardware support across a multi-vendor environment, (mainly HPE andamp; Dell Servers). You will also be involved in Data Centre facility activities such as but not limited to IMACD (Install, Move And Change, decommissioning) work, escorting external resources, requesting access, goods in/out. Engineers day to day responsibilities will focus on (but not be imited to):Hardware installations, maintenance, and repairs on customer equipment.Be able to build strong customer relationships. So need the ability to manage complex customer problemsMaintaining a high level of customer satisfaction by clarifying customer needs and ensuring that they are met. Handles customer-relations problems promptly and appropriately.To ensuring all calls are resolved within the agreed SLA, ensuring calls are escalated when required and customers are updated, until the call is resolved and closed.Communicating at all levels both written and verbalDisplaying calmness and the ability to solve problems under pressure.
