Our client, a reputable main dealership in the Grantham area, is seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Technician to join their professional team.

The Vehicle Technician position is ideal for experienced professionals committed to delivering quality service and technical excellence.

Benefits:

• Basic salary of up to £42,000, depending on experience
• On-target earnings of approximately £48,000, including bonus earnings
• Full manufacturer training and development programmes
• Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, with 1 in 3 Saturdays
• Bonus and overtime opportunities

Duties:

• Perform vehicle repairs, diagnostics, and servicing to manufacturer standards
• Conduct thorough diagnostic checks to identify faults
• Liaise effectively with service advisors, customers, and management to ensure customer satisfaction
• Inspect vehicles for wear, tear, and general faults, providing accurate diagnoses
• Complete work in compliance with DVSA standards
• Document all repairs and maintenance accurately as a Vehicle Technician
• Assist with additional vehicle maintenance tasks as requested
• Ensure a professional approach and excellent customer service throughout

Requirements:

• Relevant formal automotive qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a dealership or independent workshop
• Own comprehensive set of tools
• Full valid UK driving licence
• MOT licence is desirable but not essential
