Job Title: Mechanical Fitter

Mechanical Fitter – Stroud
Hours: Mon–Thu 07:30–16:30, Fri 07:30–14:00
Pay: £30,000 overtime bonuses

We’re looking for a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team. You’ll build and fit mechanical and electrical assemblies from drawings, using hand and power tools. The work is varied, hands-on, and requires good problem-solving skills.

• Assemble mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic parts

• Build sub-assemblies and full products

• Use tools for cutting, folding, marking out, and pipe bending

• Check quality, dimensions, and alignment

• Follow Health & Safety at all times

• Strong engineering background

• Able to read technical drawings

• Hands-on skills with tools and fabrication

• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, or electrics is a bonus

• Plenty of overtime at time-and-a-half

• Monthly tools bonus for attendance

• Team performance bonuses

• 23 days holiday bank holidays (rising with service)
