We are seeking a proactive and detail-focused Senior Finance Officer, for an immediate start, to join a unique and purpose-driven SEN Multi Academy Trust based in North London. 

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Senior Finance Officer will play a central role in managing and improving the Trust’s financial systems and ensuring compliance with internal policies and ESFA requirements. You’ll deputise for the Finance Manager when required and provide financial advice to senior leaders and school teams.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing payroll reconciliation, VAT submissions, and financial reporting
• Supporting audit preparation and monitoring SEND funding
• Budget scenario modelling and monthly reconciliations
• Overseeing the Trust’s financial controls and asset management
• Leading a small team and building strong working relationships with internal stakeholders

You’ll be AAT Level 4 qualified (or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA) with experience in finance operations, ideally within the education or charity sector. Strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and a solutions-focused mindset are essential.

This is a full time, all year through, on site role.
