Site Agent Major Highways Location: UK-Wide (Lodging Provided) Salary: £60,000-£65,000 + Company Vehicle / Car Allowance + Package Sector: Major Highways We are seeking an experienced Site Agent to oversee the successful delivery of major highways and infrastructure schemes across the UK. The ideal candidate will come from a Highways England (National Highways) or large-scale civil engineering background and be confident managing complex, fast-paced projects from start to finish. This role requires someone willing to lodge away during the week, with all accommodation and travel expenses covered.Key Responsibilities Take full ownership of day-to-day site management on major highways schemes. Ensure works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to specification. Lead and motivate site teams and subcontractors to achieve project objectives. Manage and review RAMS, ITPs, site diaries, progress reports, and programme updates. Liaise closely with clients, project managers, engineers, and local authorities. Drive Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance to the highest standard. Coordinate resources, materials, and logistics efficiently to meet deadlines. Support project planning, forecasting, and risk management activities. Requirements Proven experience as a Site Agent or Senior Site Agent in Highways or Major Infrastructure projects.
