The RoleWe are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with strong expertise in Fortinet / FortiGate firewalls and VMware vCenter to join a dynamic IT infrastructure team.You will play a key role in maintaining, securing, and optimising the organisation''s network and virtual infrastructure environment, ensuring high availability, performance, and resilience across business-critical systems.This role offers a mix of BAU support and project-based work, including infrastructure upgrades, security enhancements, and virtualisation improvements.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and support Fortinet / FortiGate firewalls and security appliancesManage firewall policies, VPNs (IPSec/SSL), NAT, VLANs, and routing protocolsAdminister and maintain VMware vCenter and ESXi environments, including VM provisioning and host managementMonitor and optimise virtual infrastructure performance and capacitySupport network infrastructure including switching, routing, WAN/LAN, and SD-WANImplement security best practices across network and virtual environmentsProvide 2nd/3rd line support for infrastructure and network incidentsSupport backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability configurationsMaintain infrastructure documentation, diagrams, and configuration standardsContribute to infrastructure transformation and cloud integration initiativesRequired ExperienceProven experience in an Infrastructure o
