Copello are working with a leading Defence organisation to recruit for an Electronic Test Engineer to join them on a permanent basis, at their site in the Portsmouth area. Key Responsibilities: Testing a range of low / medium complexity electronic manufactured products Diagnosing a range of low / medium complexity electronic manufactured products to component level (with occasional technical support) and understanding of Circuit Diagrams and component recognition Testing in accordance with defined Test Schedule / Instruction Manually / automatically using a wide range of new and old standard test equipment for example oscilloscopes, signal generators etc. Essential Skills and Experience: HNC or equivalent qualification/experience in electronic/electrical engineering or relevant apprenticeship Electronic test engineering experience Understand complex electronic manufactured products would be desirable. Working experience within a Defence, Aerospace, Avionics, Maritime / similar engineering industry would be desirable. Candidates must be a sole British Citizen to be considered for this position.
