Job Purpose:To support the smooth running of the solicitor s office by providing professional front-of-house reception services and high-quality administrative support. This role offers a legal graduate the opportunity to gain experience in a professional legal environment, build essential skills, and observe legal practice in action.Key Responsibilities:Reception Duties:Act as the first point of contact for all visitors and clientsManage incoming calls, take accurate messages, and direct queries appropriatelyGreet clients in a professional and friendly mannerMaintain a tidy and welcoming reception areaAdministrative Support:Handle incoming and outgoing post and email correspondenceSchedule appointments and manage meeting room bookingsPrepare, print, and format letters, legal forms, and other documentsPhotocopy, scan, file, and maintain both physical and digital case filesClient File Management:Assist with opening, closing, and archiving client filesInput data into the case management system accuratelyEnsure all documentation is compliant with firm policies and regulatory requirementsGeneral Office Duties:Order and manage office suppliesSupport solicitors and legal assistants with ad hoc tasksMaintain confidentiality and professionalism at all timesPerson Specification:Essential:Recent law graduate (LLB or equivalent)Excellent telephone and interpersonal skillsStrong written communication and administrative abilityProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)Professio
