The Interim Head of Funding will oversee the implementation of the funding strategy for Guy''s and St Thomas'' Charity, Guy''s Cancer Charity, and Evelina London Children''s Charity. The role involves leading funding activities across the full funding cycle, from proposal development to monitoring funded programmes. The ideal candidate will have health sector funding experience and strong line management skills. This is a six-month covering position.Responsibilities include:Overseeing the end-to-end funding process and managing funding portfolios.Co-chairing funding committees and managing Special Purpose Funds.Ensuring financial reporting and supporting operational planning.Building relationships with Trust leads and embedding evaluation and learning into funding processes.Leading cross-team initiatives such as health equity and patient engagement.Providing line management to the Funding Managers and supporting team-wide activities.The role requires working in a hybrid environment, database management, and occasional evening/weekend events. Key skills include team management, stakeholder engagement, financial analysis, and strategic understanding.
