You will join a multidisciplinary team responsible for ensuring the safety and compliance of integrated systems critical to platform capability and survivability. As a key technical contributor, you will lead and support activities that underpin the system safety case, focusing on programmable technologies embedded within the wider combat system. The role will require engagement across teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesLead safety engineering tasks such as Preliminary Hazard Analysis (PHA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), and Safety Assessments (PSSA/SSA)Analyse causes of programmable system failures, including systematic and common-cause failuresDefine, manage, and monitor safety requirements in line with technical and contractual obligationsSupport hazard identification workshops and safety committee meetingsEvaluate and integrate Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) solutionsLiaise with suppliers to gather and review safety evidence in compliance with Def Stan 00-055Contribute to proje
