Our client produces high-performance carbon fibre components for the automotive industry, including F1 teams, hypercar manufacturers, and the medical sector. You will be part of a small, dedicated team responsible for inspecting composite components and assemblies to ensure they meet stringent quality and engineering standards. The Quality Inspector position is a business critical role. All applicants are required to have experience using a Romer Arm.N.B For this role, we are unable to consider applications from those candidates seeking visa sponsorship.Key Responsibilities - What a typical day isInspection of carbon fibre and or lacquer / paint standards both mid process and prior to dispatchOperate precision measuring tools including CMM''s Romer Arms and Surface testers.Inspect high quality carbon fibre automotive and racing parts to customer specifications.Record all non-conformance''s on internal quality management databaseIdentify defects such as fibre misalignment, surface irregularities and bonding issues.Ensure all measuring equipment is kept in good working order and calibrated correctlyCommunicate all non-conformance''s to appropriate personnelMaintain a clean and tidy working environmentKey Res
