We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to work closely with the Finance Manager. It s a hands-on role with loads of variety and plenty of room to learn. Hours: Mon Thurs: 8.30am 5pm Fri: 8.30am 3pm What you ll be doing: Purchase ledger and sales ledger Bank and account reconciliations Supporting with month-end tasks Weekly payroll Using Sage Accounts, Sage Payroll and Eque2 A bit of HR admin thrown in (new starter forms, checks, etc.) What they re after: AAT Level 3 or 4 ideally AAT Level 2 will be considered if you bring something extra (construction experience or similar) Knowledge of CIS, reverse charge VAT or retentions is a big plus Construction background is preferred but not essential Someone happy working full-time in the office Team: You ll be working in a small, friendly finance function If you want variety, stability and the chance to grow, then this is a great opportunity.
