Plan a sustainable 3-tier service for Alternative Provision (AP). Support the creation of the Local Area Inclusion Plan (LAIP) and forecast future demand for alternative provision. Engage with providers to meet demand effectively. Focus on early identification of needs and inclusion. Advise on strategic and individual commissioning of services to improve mainstream school provision. Develop resources to monitor impact and effectiveness. Develop the council s strategy for Appropriate and Alternative Provision. Must Have Ability to promote inclusion to all stakeholders. Skill in leading cultural change and influencing others. Effective communication skills for collaborative work. Passion for and knowledge of appropriate and alternative provision. Understanding of commissioning services. Ability to apply reflective practice. Knowledge of the SEND and AP Change Programme. Nice to Have Experience in engaging stakeholders hearts and minds.
