This leading MandE DandB Contractor is seeking an Associate Electrical Design Engineer to lead and manage its expanding electrical design team. This role presents an opportunity to join a market–leading MandE contractor, working on high–profile projects across the commercial office and data centre sectors.

The Opportunity:Leadership Role – The design department currently consists of 16 top quality engineers, with plans to expand to 20 this year. Key ResponsibilitiesThe Associate Electrical Design Engineer will:Lead and manage the electrical design team, ensuring technical excellence and innovation.Oversee the design and delivery of major commercial office and data centre projects.Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure the seamless execution of projects.Play a pivotal role in recruiting, mentoring, and developing the team to uphold high standards of design.Be primarily based in the London office (5 days per week), with 2 days per month working from home.

Candidate RequirementsExtensive experience in electrical design for major commercial and/or data centre projects.Proven leadership skills, with a history of managing and developing teams.Strong knowledge of design software and industry regulations.Ability to manage multiple projects while liaising effectively with key stakeholders.This is a critical leadership position within a growing company, offering the chance to work on some of the most prestigious projects in the industry.
