You will play a key role in designing and delivering engaging campaigns that inform residents, businesses, and partners about the council''s work and priorities, while supporting the council''s reputation and core values. Ideally, you will have experience with Local Authority/Housing.This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing a variety of communications projects from concept to delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and deliver strategic communications campaigns aligned to the council''s priorities and the Council Plan. Pitch campaign ideas to senior stakeholders including councillors and directors, gaining buy-in and ensuring delivery to time, budget and satisfaction. Evaluate outcomes and report on campaign effectiveness, providing insights and recommendations. Write, edit and produce accessible and engaging content across multiple platforms including print, digital and social media. Provide proactive and reactive communications advice on issues affecting the council''s reputation. Collaborate across departments to ensure consistent and effective messaging
