Quantity Surveyor - Scaffolding Contractor

A well-established and highly respected Scaffolding Developer based in Greenwich is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team.

With a team of around 25 professionals in the office, this business has built an excellent reputation for delivering complex scaffolding and access solutions across London. This role has arisen due to continued growth and project demand, offering the successful Quantity Surveyor the opportunity to step into a key commercial position within a busy and expanding team.

The Quantity Surveyor Role

As Quantity Surveyor, you will take ownership of the commercial aspects of multiple scaffolding and access projects, working closely with operational teams to ensure projects are delivered profitably and efficiently.

You will be responsible for:

• Managing project costs from tender through to final account
• Preparing and reviewing valuations, variations and cost reports
• Working closely with site and operational teams to monitor project performance
• Supporting contract administration and commercial strategy
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Identifying risks and opportunities across projects

The Quantity Surveyor - Requirements

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within scaffolding, access, or a related construction sector
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage multiple projects
• Confident communicator, able to liaise with clients and internal teams
• A proactive and detail-oriented approach
• Degree qualified or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
