Our client based near Stretford, Manchester are looking to recruit Mechanical Fitters on a long term basis. Applicants need to have experience working from drawings, assembling bespoke machinery for the Manufacturing Industry; Using skills such as pipe bending, pneumatics, installing pumps, hoses and motors. Candidates need to be time served Mechanical Fitters, who can read drawings and mark out etc. The machines are bespoke so Fitters need to have the ability to complete a job which may need adjustments as they go on. Hours of work: Mon-Thurs: 08.00-16.30 and Fri: 08.00-15.30 Basic 39 hours. Usual overtime of 1-2 hours a day and Saturday morning. Hourly Rates: CIS/ Limited Contractor: Basic: £22.00 Overtime: £27.00 per hour PAYE: Basic: £17.00 - £18 per hour and half. Umbrella Rates available You will need some of your own tools.
