Proven track record of financial planning, project support, and compliance with UK and international accounting standards. Adept at stakeholder engagement, process improvement, and strategic analysis within fast-paced, project-driven environments.Core ResponsibilitiesFinance Business PartneringLead preparation of annual budgets and periodic reforecasts, working closely with divisional MDs and commercial leadsPartner with project teams throughout the project lifecycle to assess budgets, produce cashflows, monitor financial performance, and deliver post-project reviewsContribute to UK cashflow forecasting and highlight working capital milestones, particularly invoicing schedules on major projectsDeliver timely financial analysis and business unit performance reporting to senior managementSupport in the preparation and publication of monthly and quarterly financial statementsCollaborate with leadership to promote best practice and compliance across the organisationPerform capital expenditure reviews and analysisFinance DeliverySupport the Senior Finance Business Partner in developing and implementing international accounting policies and proceduresMaintain accurate accounting records and assist in risk management and regulatory complianceDemonstrate strong knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS standardsAssist in managing external audit processes and relationships to ensure timely completionLiaise with external tax advisers as required, ensuring compliance with VAT, Corporation Tax, IR35 and other relevant legislationHelp implement and monitor key reporting policies, controls, and financial metricsOther DutiesEnsure all transactional finance activities comply with internal policies and legal requirementsUndertake additional reasonable tasks as directed by the Senior Finance Business PartnerContribute to continuous improvement initiatives across finance and operationsStrong understanding of accounting principles and audit practicesDemonstrated ability to analyse complex financial data and deliver actionable insightsExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft SharePoint, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPointSkilled user of accounting software; experience with Navision or BuildSmart is desirableHolds a full UK Driving LicenceQualificationsFully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA)Minimum 3 years’ experience in a finance business partnering roleSeniority level
