Policy and Finance Committee Chair Contractor required for appointment as Policy and Finance Committee Chair The Farriers Registration Council (FRC) is the National Regulator and National Competent Authority for farriery in Great Britain. Its authority and functions are set out in primary legislation under the Farriers (Registration) Act 1975 as amended. The Council seeks an experienced and committed individual to serve as a Chair of the Policy and Finance Committee. Reporting to the Chair of Council, this pivotal role will be required to contribute knowledge, expertise and oversight in respect of policy making, finance and HR, including adherence to legal and regulatory requirements. As an ex-officio member of the Council, the role is to ensure that the FRC is managed efficiently and effectively and play a key role in the organisation''s governance. Working alongside other Council members and the secretariat to shape and monitor financial strategy, policies, risk and to ensure resources are used effectively and ethically for the achievement of our objectives.
