M&M Supply is an education recruitment agency working in partnership with a number of SEN Schools across Weston Super Mare and various other areas in Somerset.-We are currently recruiting passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support children and young people with Additional Learning Needs (ALN).

We offer roles from day to day/short term cover and also Long term/temp to perm roles.

About the Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with a range of Additional Learning Needs (ALN)
• Support learners with ASD, ADHD, SEMH needs, speech and language difficulties, and complex learning needs
• Assist in delivering personalised learning programmes tailored to individual needs and support plans
• Promote positive behaviour strategies in line with school policies
• Encourage independence, confidence, and social development
• Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and pastoral teams
• Support pupils with personal care needs where required

Who We''re Looking For

We welcome applications from individuals who:

• Have experience working with children or young people with SEN/A LN (school, care, youth work, support work or similar)
• Are patient, empathetic, and resilient
• Have strong communication and teamwork skills
• Are confident supporting pupils with additional behavioural or emotional needs
• Hold a Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
• Have an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or are willing to obtain one)

Experience within specialist settings or working with pupils with complex needs would be highly advantageous.
