Duties:

• Conducting MOT tests on class 4 vehicles efficiently and accurately, ensuring compliance with current standards
• Assisting with basic vehicle servicing tasks, including brake, pad, and suspension replacements
• Diagnosing vehicle issues and communicating findings effectively to the workshop manager for repair or rectification
• Maintaining high standards of vehicle safety and legislative compliance
• Ensuring accurate and detailed documentation of all work undertaken
• Contributing to the smooth running of daily workshop operations

Requirements for the MOT Tester role:

• Proven experience as an MOT Tester with valid Class 4 certification
• Ability to perform MOT fail repairs and basic servicing tasks confidently
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
• Good organisational skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
• Valid UK driving licence
• Relevant technical knowledge and experience of working in a similar automotive environment
