Data Analyst For Regulated Service and Resources

One of my local government clients are currently recruiting an experienced Data Analyst For Regulated Service and Resources on a temporary basis. This is a 3-month minimum contract with the possibility of the role being extended further to work Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm. Hybrid working role were, however, you will be required to attend the office 2/3 times a week. Overview: The Data Analyst will play a key role in ensuring the timely and accurate provision of data insights to support teams within Regulated Service and Resources. The post holder will provide quantitative and qualitative insights by developing reports that meet business short and long-term business needs, improve service delivery, and enhance strategic direction of the service and the operational decision making for children at risk of becoming looked after and children who are in care. Role Requirements: Develop Data Systems: Review existing data recording system(s) and support the development of new data recording systems. Data Analysis: Gather data and scrutinise data from a range of sources to support service delivery, future planning and reporting. Ensure that data analysis aligns with best practices and delivers actionable insights. Service Area Intelligence: Take a lead role in analysing data related to children at risk of becoming looked after and children in care by offering insights to support service delivery improvements and realise efficiencies.
