Pastry Chef Full-time, permanent Cambridge Hours: 37.5 hours per week 2 week on rota system, flexibility required. Overtime available. Duties including, but not limited to: Maintain high standards of quality across all dessert offerings Support the preparation, coordination, and presentation of all pastries and desserts Assist with daily production to meet operational needs Contribute to the creation of seasonal menu items Follow all food safety, hygiene, allergen, and health regulations Collaborate on the development of pastry dishes for conference and event menus Keep the pastry kitchen clean, organised, and within budgeted stock levels Wear a clean, laundered uniform daily in accordance with hygiene standards The person: City and Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or NVQ Level 1 and 2 equivalent or relevant baking / pastry qualification 2-3 years experience within a similar role Strong knowledge of HACCP, COSHH and Health and Safety Full knowledge of allergen legislation and customer dietary requirement Responsible and trustworthy Flexible approach Strong communicator with good team working skills
