ICT Support Technician
ICT Desktop Support TechnicianEdinburgh (Hybrid 3 days per week) £167 P/D (Inside IR35)6-month contract Counter Terrorism Check (CTC) clearance is required for this role. Candidates who already hold a valid CTC clearance will be given preference.Key ResponsibilitiesThe assignment is to work in IT support to deliver effective first and second-line customer focused servicesWorking on IT support tasks including providing IT Helpdesk, customer service support, break fix, triage.Skills andamp; ExperienceTechnical knowledge of Microsoft Windows 11 and proficient in supporting Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook and Office 365.Relevant experience of providing floorwalking and helpdesk IT support in a large, networked environment, including people at all levels of the organisation. Device support experience including smartphones/tablets and laptops.Excellent communication skills, and a confident, respectful inclusive customer-focused manner.Self-motivated and well organised, with an analytical approach to problem solving.Desirable Skills/ExperienceExperience of using an incident management software package, preferably Assyst to record incidents and update configuration items.This role requires an individual who holds, or is eligible to obtain, CTC security clearance.
