Disability Support Worker Havant Full-Time Monday - Friday September 2025GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic and caring Disability Support Worker to support students with special educational needs in a warm and inclusive school setting in Havant. This position is ideal for someone passionate about supporting young people with special educational needs and challenging behaviour. The chosen candidate must be able to completely commit to the role as continuity is key.Role Details: Disability Support Worker WantedLocation: HavantSalary Scale: £13.80 to £15 per hourStart: ASAP /September 2025 Responsibilities of a Disability Support Worker: Provide 1:1 support for pupils with challenging behaviour, Autism, SEMH and mental health needsHelp promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and a safe learning spaceWork closely with teachers, therapists, and pastoral staff to provide consistent, tailored support Working with children in the classroom settingManaging challenging behaviourWorking with students one-to-one and small groups Requirements for Disability Support Worker: Has experience working with young people, this could be as a Sports Coach, Dance Leader, Scout Leader or something similar (preferred, not essential).Experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly those with autism or social and emotional
