Trainee Coding and Programmer Placement ProgrammePlease note this is a training programme with career placement and fees apply.This programme is designed for individuals with none or limited experience who want to start a career in programming. It is not intended for experienced programmers. The programme offers industry recognised certifications, skills development, CV and LinkedIn optimization, a credible portfolio, and placement support with UK employers.Whether you are working full-time, part-time or are unemployed, the package is flexible and can be completed in as little as a few weeks or a few months, depending on study pace (minimum about 5 hours per week). Training times may be reduced if more time is invested each week.Our aim is to help you progress a career in website administration and programming by ensuring you have the necessary skills and credentials to start a career in entry-level roles.We have many years of experience helping graduates find their first roles in top UK companies and organisations that need entry-level programming staff who can hit the ground running with up-to-date skills gained from this programme.Note: Training times and durations are approximate and subject to study pace.

Stage 1 – Learn HTML and CSS

The first step is completing a selection of professional and industry-recognised courses. We have carefully selected these courses to maximize learning and employment outcomes.

HTML Essentials (*up to 6 weeks)

CSS Essentials (*up to weeks)

Training is delivered through multimedia video tutorials, presentations and quizzes via an online portal. You will be assigned an expert tutor and a support mentor who will work with you 1-2-1 or in groups. After completing HTML and CSS, your trainer will move you forward to the next stage.

Stage 2 – Additional Online Training

The second step includes more advanced courses to prepare you for entry-level programming roles and help you get a step ahead.

Learn the Command Line (*1.5 weeks)

Learn Git and GitHub (*1.5 weeks)

Learn JavaScript (*1.5 weeks)

Learn Python 3 (*1.5 weeks)

JavaScript forms the foundation of most web development. Python is a versatile language widely used across industries.

Stage 3 – Building a Portfolio Website Project

Your tutor will provide exercises and guidelines to help you build a personalised portfolio. A strong portfolio demonstrating your skills is essential in a programming career. Completion of additional study courses is voluntary but recommended.

Stage 4 – Entry Level Web Administrator Placement

We will work with you to help you secure your first role in coding, programming or web development. Entry-level roles typically start between £25K - £40k, depending on prior knowledge or experience.Opportunities include a wide range of roles such as junior developer, website administrator, website support developer, junior web developer, content editor, Wordpress developer, junior software developer, and junior front or back end development. Development support roles are also possible.
