Warehouse Operative / Driver

Location: South Croydon
Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Mon - Fri
Salary: -27,000 per annum (negotiable depending on experience)
Employment Type: Permanent, full-time

Company Overview:

We are working with a reputable client in the dental industry who is seeking a reliable and proactive Warehouse Operative / Driver to join their small, friendly team. This is a varied and hands-on role combining warehouse duties with regular delivery driving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out an average of 3 multi drop van runs per week delivering dental equipment and supplies (including 25kg plaster bags) to clients across the region.
• Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
• Handle, organise, and move stock within the warehouse (heavy lifting required).
• Assist with stock control and inventory checks.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the warehouse.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Represent the company professionally during client deliveries.

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence (with a clean record preferred).
• Previous experience in a warehouse or delivery driver role desirable.
• Comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting.
• Strong team player with a positive attitude.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable and flexible - able to adapt to changes in schedule or duties.
• Basic understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Within 30 minutes commute preferable.
• Previous forklift training an advantage.
