Job Title: PipefitterLocation: Glasgow - Govan and Scotstoun - Based on site and must be able to attend a recruitment day in GlasgowSalary: £37,318.00 (additional shift allowance of 33% may be applicable)Requirements: Trade Papers to be provided when submitting applicationWhat you''ll be doing:Fabricating and installing pipework systems in large and small-bore pipework using different materials (copper, cuni, carbon steel and stainless steel)Using a range of hand tools and mechanical equipment to cut, bend and weld pipes as well as installation of pipework.Installing utilities aboard ship i.e. sinks, showers, and toiletsInstall and assemble fittings, valves, and related components according to drawings and specifications.Collaborate with other trades to ensure the timely and accurate completion of projects.Adhere to safety regulations and company procedures at all timesMaintain accurate records of work carried outYour skills and experiences:Essential :Modern Apprenticeship certificate/Trade Papers (you will be required to provide these papers) and relevant qualifications (e.g., SVQ3, City and Guilds, or equivalent)Current knowledge and experience of pipe manufacture, installation, and use of associated equipmentStrong knowledge of pipefitting techniques, tools, and safety standardsAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specificationsClear understanding of SHE, COSHH and Risk AssessmentsProven experience as a Pipefitter or similar within an industrial
