We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and skilled individual to work as the Service Manager to oversee the management of learning disabilities, transitions, and safeguarding. This is a busy integrated service comprising of a range of health and social care professionals offering a holistic provision to our resident. The postholder will lead on the operational management and development of the service and support the Head of Service to implement strategic development objectives in accordance with the directory vision. You will be expected to support the Team Managers and ensure the service is run smoothly. You will need to have a hands-on approach; be solution focused and have good problem-solving and decision-making skills. The successful candidate will require strong leadership experience either at service manager level in a health or social care setting or be a team manager with a desire to further their career and develop their skills in operational and strategic level management. They will require excellent and compassionate people management skills, IT proficiency, and strong networking skills , demonstrating an ability to work across agencies and organisations ensuring effective communication and collaboration with all statutory and voluntary sector partners in the local network.
