Position: Maintenance Engineer
Location: West Bromwich
Salary: -40,000 - -42,500
Hours: 7.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Thursday & 7.30am to 12.30pm on Friday

Bennett and Game are currently partnering with a specialist Metal Pressing and Fabrication company who are actively seeking a proven Maintenance Engineer to join their West Bromwich location.

Our client has over 70 years heritage and are currently expanding in various areas of their business due to continued contract wins, continued investment into their staff, facilities and specialist machines.

Maintenance Engineer Position Overview

• To support production in solving Problems / Breakdowns in a Professional manor to ensure production is back up and running as soon as possible.
• Responsible for the upkeep of the buildings and plant within the business and reporting any issues to the Engineering Director as soon as they occur.
• To ensure any drawings or manuals are updated if changes are made and kept with the spares log.
• To undertake the training and support of any Apprentice that is placed with in your team.

Maintenance Engineer Position Requirements

• Experience in both Electrical & Mechanical maintenance
• Experience working on Power Presses and Ancillary Equipment - highly desirable
• City and Guilds in Mechanical Engineering or NVQ equivalent
• Knowledge of PLC fault finding.
• Knowledge of Hydraulic systems.
