Curriculum Development Teaching Fellow (Statistics)

Job Type: Full-Time.The Department of Mathematics has a popular undergraduate programme with around 900 enrolled students. Supported by a £500k grant to redevelop our mathematics programmes, the department is seeking to recruit a Teaching Fellow in Statistics. The main duties of the post will be to develop and teach undergraduate modules in Statistics for mathematics undergraduates, with a focus on active learning. The postholder can expect to be involved in all aspects of the department''s teaching, e.g. as a personal tutor and project supervisor, and by contributing to the efficient running of teaching within the department.This role has a substantial curriculum development component. You will work closely with the project team and with students as partners to develop a novel statistics curriculum that is collaborative, discovery-based and informed by global challenges.
