Driver roles will vary as will shift times, but we have plenty of regular work for experienced drivers. HGV Class 1 Driver requirements: Good level of English communication skills A maximum of 6 points Full UK HGV Class 1 Driver licence Happy with multidrop work and strapping loads The job of HGV Class 1 Driver pay will vary from client to client, but our PAYE rate would be from 18 PAYE rising to 20- 23 p/h working through Limited company, umbrella or on a self-employed basis. If any nights out involved, these are paid as a 25 non-taxed expense.
