The successful candidate will bring strong mechanical knowledge, hands-on machine operation experience, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and safety. You will play a key role in ensuring equipment is properly set, maintained, and optimised to support smooth production throughout the night shift.Key ResponsibilitiesSet machines and processing equipment to required specifications.Use product flow charts to maximise production efficiency.Apply the moulding concern procedure when required.Set and load mould tools and dies using SMED techniques.Adjust machine settings to maintain product quality and correct processing conditions.Perform regular process monitoring checks using Statistical Process Control (SPC).Identify, analyse, and implement process improvement opportunities.Work within development teams to introduce new materials, products, or technologies.Qualifications and SkillsExcellent mechanical aptitude with solid engineering understanding.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Clear and effective communication skills.Basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.Experience with tools such as SPC, FMEA, and SMED.
