Chief Information Officer (CIO)
to join our Executive Team. This is a unique opportunity to shape the digital future of a newly merged organisation, driving innovation, integration, and resident-focused service delivery.Our new CIO will play a critical role in delivering our digital agenda in the new organisation. You will lead the development of a Group-wide digital strategy, harnessing data, AI, and emerging technologies to improve resident experience, streamline operations, and support our environmental goals. You will also be instrumental in shaping our integration programme, ensuring our systems and services are aligned, agile, and future-ready.As we begin work on our next Corporate Plan (2026 onwards), your leadership will help us navigate the opportunities and challenges ahead including those arising from the wider political and economic landscape.If you are excited by the opportunity to lead digital transformation in a newly merged, ambitious housing group, we would be delighted to receive your application.Responsibilities
Lead the development and delivery of a Group-wide digital strategy, leveraging data, AI and emerging technologies to improve resident experience and streamline operations.Shape and manage the integration programme to ensure systems and services are aligned, agile, and future-ready.Drive innovation and performance through robust, resident-focused solutions and strong governance.Influence at Board level, lead high-performing teams, and collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to deliver outcomes that support environmental and community goals.Ensure technology, data, and information security practices comply with regulatory requirements in a complex housing environment.Support the evolution of the Corporate Plan (2026 onwards) and respond to opportunities and challenges in the political and economic landscape.Qualifications and experience
Strategic leader with deep expertise in IT, data analytics, and performance frameworks.Experience leading complex change programs in a regulated environment.Proven ability to influence at Board level and to inspire and manage high-performing teams.Passion for using technology to enhance customer and colleague experiences and to drive organisational resilience and efficiency.Location, travel and remuneration
Location:
High Wycombe or Letchworth, with travel to both sites required.Remuneration:
