STOCK CONTROLLER REQUIRED - NOTTINGHAM, NG2

My client based in Nottingham who specialise in health and safety are looking for a dedicated and efficient Stocker / Stock Controller to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that the warehouse operations run smoothly by managing inventory and maintaining the organisation of stock. This position requires a proactive individual who is capable of heavy lifting and has a keen eye for detail. There will also be elements of van driving to local customers replenishing stock and carrying out stock deliveries.

Responsibilities for the stock controller role

• Acquire relevant stock items for customer vending machines
• Stock vending machines on customer sites as required, locally
• Liaise directly with customers and account managers to ensure a high level of service
• Efficiently managing time to ensure customers sites are visited at agreed dates and times
• Providing web support for self-managed customers
• Liaising with the central team to ensure stocks are counted and accurate data maintained as well as updating them on relevant customer information
• Maintaining professional housekeeping standards of all inventory and locations within a customer site and work in the trade counter as required in times of absence/holidays of colleagues
• Complying with vehicle servicing requirements and maintain the appearance of their company vehicle
• Completing weekly control forms to be returned to the central team for logging

Requirements for the Stock Controller role

• Previous experience in a warehouse or stock controlling role is preferred.
• MUST have a full UK Driving licence to apply
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in managing stock levels.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Computer literate

This is a temp to perm position, working Monday to Friday 8am-5pm (40hr week). You will transfer permanent after 12 weeks of successful placement.

Weekly pay -12.60ph
