Job Title: Primary School Cleaner
Location: Northumberland
Pay: -14.00 - -17.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 3:30pm - 5:30pm (Term Time, with potential for additional holiday hours)

Empowering Learning are seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join a friendly primary school team in Northumberland. This is a key role in ensuring our school provides a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal areas

• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately

• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors

• Wiping down surfaces and sanitising high-touch areas

• Replenishing hygiene supplies

• Ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard

• Previous cleaning experience

• Good attention to detail and ability to work independently

• Reliable and punctual

• Must hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to purchase one

• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

• Competitive hourly rate of -1417 per hour
