Lead AV Installation EngineerContact:To apply for this vacancy, please send an email to: [emailprotected] with your name, contact telephone number and attach the latest copy of your CV.Lead AV Installation EngineerMaidenhead salary circa £40,000+Paid overtimeAn AV Technology company for the future who are rapidly expanding and driving forward the most up to date Technology in Digital Signage Audio Visual and ITAKey ResponsibilitiesCarrying out first and second fix installation activities on time and to the required standardHave excellent soldering, crimp and terminating skillsWorking under instruction from Senior Engineers and Project Managers, but also to think laterally and suggest engineering solutions on siteWorking from schematics, terminating sheets, site plans and drawings, including ensuring that any changes are reflected on the schematicsManage, motivate and be responsible for an onsite project teamTo be responsible for the quality and productivity of the project team ensuring that the required level of professionalism is maintainedTo ensure that systems are made ready for handover from installation to commissioning, including documentation.Installation of Video Conferencing systemsInstallation of Audio Visual systemsKey Skills, Experience and KnowledgeCTS Qualified would be an advantageStrong ability to work alone and on own initiativeAbility to carry out installation activities on time and to the required standardBe organized, flexible and able to overcome challenges during the working dayVery good communication skillsTo have a good understanding of 1st and 2nd fix AV installationsHave excellent soldering, crimp and terminating skillsTo be able to work from schematics, terminating sheets, site plans and projector drawingsHave strong mechanical skillsExperience and understanding of control systems, AMX/Crestron would be an advantage.Experience and understanding of Video Conferencing systems would be an advantage.The ideal candidate will have at least two years’ experience of production and wiring methods and carried out previous installation work in the AV industryA full, clean UK driving license is essentialTo apply for this vacancy, please send an email to: [emailprotected] with your name, contact telephone number and attach the latest copy of your CV.
