Audit Senior

Role ResponsibilitiesLeading audits from planning through to completion across a diverse portfolio of clients (typically up to £50m turnover)Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts in accordance with FRS 102Supervising, training, and reviewing the work of junior team members on-site and in the officeActing as a key point of contact for clients throughout the audit processDrafting audit findings and presenting them to managers or partnersEnsuring all work is carried out to the highest standard and in line with relevant deadlines and regulationsSupporting with ad hoc project work and broader business advisory tasks when required

Candidate RequirementsACA or ACCA qualified (or finalist with relevant experience)Minimum of 3 years'' UK audit experience within an accountancy practiceAble to lead audits independently and manage client relationships confidentlyStrong knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS 102, and audit proceduresCompetent using CaseWare, CCH, and cloud-based software such as Xero or QuickBooks (or similar)Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skillsA proactive and team-focused mindset
