Due to continuous growth, we are now actively recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Senior Estimator with a solid background in Residential Groundworks.Senior Estimator Criteria

Years of demonstrable success securing new work, predominantly within the Groundwork and RC Frame sector, ranging from £5m to £50m in valueDemonstrable experience of dealing with multiple clients, forms of contract and methods of measurementAbility to manage multiple tenders at different stages of a tender lifecycle at one timeA good level of competency with Microsoft packagesSenior level commercial and contractual awarenessIn depth knowledge of Estimating Software packagesAn excellent communicatorSenior Estimator Duties

Review and analyse enquiry documentation to fully understand the scope, requirements, and conditionsQuantify the extent of works required based on tender documents, specifications, and drawingsIdentify and evaluate commercial and technical risks, offering the best solutionsEngage with the supply chain to explore cost-saving opportunities and maximise value during the bidding processPrepare accurate and competitive cost estimates, including detailed bills of quantitiesDevelop a comprehensive cost estimate for preliminary resources, aligning with the agreed programme and engineering requirementsEnsure all tender-related documents, communications, and client queries are maintained in an organized and controlled mannerBuild strong client relationships by understanding and addressing key requirements and expectationsPrepare and present the commercial aspects of tenders to the Commercial Bid Manager and/or Pre-Construction Director for approvalLead commercial tender submissions and presentations to clients, ensuring clarity and professionalismSupport the construction delivery team by providing a detailed commercial handover, ensuring smooth project executionWork closely with project teams to gather post-tender feedback, refining future estimating strategiesIn Return For Your Service
