We are seeking a motivated and skilled Shift Engineer to join our clients team based near Barnsley. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving the production processes, ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
• Monitor and optimize production processes to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with the production team to minimize downtime and improve productivity.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

The Candidate:

• Apprentice Trained (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
• Experience in food manufacturing or fast paced enviroments-
• Electrical biased-
