Job Vacancy: Groundworks Site Manager (with Site Engineering knowledge)

Location: Hull

Duration: Approx. 14 months (Long term for the right candidate)

Sector: Groundworks & Civil Engineering - New Build Housing

We are currently seeking an experienced Groundworks Site Manager to join our client on a long term residential development project in Hull. The ideal candidate will have a background or knowledge in site engineering and a strong understanding of groundworks and civil engineering within the new build housing sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing day to day site operations on a busy new build housing site

   

• Managing plot works and supervising subcontractors and site labour

   

• Handling site paperwork including:
• QA documentation

   

• Permits

   

• Timesheets

   

• Take offs

   

• Ensuring health & safety compliance on site

   

• Liaising with the client, engineers, and project team

   

• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and site organisation

   

  Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Groundworks Site Manager

     

  • Site Engineering background or knowledge (preferred)

     

  • CSCS card

     

  • SMSTS

     

  • First Aid

     

  • Strong leadership and communication skills

     

  • Self motivated with the ability to manage subcontractors and direct labour efficiently
