OverviewPhilanthropy Executive – High Value Giving
Location: Hybrid (weekly travel to our London office, EC2Y 9AL)
Salary: £29,600 - £30,800 per annum (plus ILW, if applicable) (DOE)
Hours: 35 per week
Contract: Permanent
RoleAre you an experienced or aspiring fundraiser? Can you help us build strong relationships with philanthropists to generate much-needed funding to help people in crisis?
ResponsibilitiesA day in the life of a Philanthropy Executive:
You will play an important role in cultivating and managing strong and sustainable relationships with a portfolio of new and existing philanthropy supporters.
You’ll regularly interact with these donors in several ways – from email to phone to face to face. Behind the scenes you’ll work closely with internal stakeholders from across the Partnerships and Philanthropy department and the Marketing, Fundraising, and Communications directorate to produce engaging and impactful donor-facing materials – from propositions to reports to acknowledgements of philanthropists’ support.
Everyday you’ll work in an organised and proactive way – thinking on your feet to overcome challenges, contributing to creative discussions about team activity, and upholding processes and policies.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will have…
Experience of interacting, developing, and maintaining relationships with supporters, clients, or customers and delivering excellent stewardship and relationship management.
Confident, clear, and persuasive written and verbal communication skills.
A track record of working closely with internal stakeholders to produce supporter, client, or customer-facing materials.
An aptitude for working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, while maintaining high standards and organisation.
Experience and success in securing income against targets.
