Located in the Ashby-De-La-Zouch area, this company is working through a considerable period of growth and is offering a salary of circa 45,000, flexible working hours, early finish on a Friday, staff awards, and progression opportunities where possible for the right engineering professional.Design Engineer responsibilities include -Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) by designing and developing tooling, jigs, fixtures, and gauges.Create and maintain drawings, BOMs, and production documentation, ensuring ERP data accuracy.Support feasibility reviews, manufacturability analyses, and technical assessments.Provide engineering support to production, resolving tooling, process, and material issues.rive improvement through lean initiatives, tooling upgrades, and design standardisation.Support root cause analysis, process validation, and integration of engineering changes.Design Engineer desirable skills and experience -Experience within a similar role - NPI Design Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer etc.Strong experience using 3D software packages such as Catia, or Solidworks.Proven background in design or manufacturing engineering within a production environment.Solid understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals /
