Supply Desk are proud to be working with a specialist SEND school in Rochester that provides outstanding education and care for students with a range of complex needs, including ASD. The school are seeking committed, reliable, and empathetic Learning Support Assistants to join their team on a full-time, temp-to-perm basis starting immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with ASD and other SEND.
• Assist in implementing tailored intervention programmes to support communication, emotional regulation, and academic development.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and therapists to deliver personalised learning plans.
• Promote positive behaviour and engagement through encouragement and structured routines.
• Support students in managing transitions and sensory needs throughout the school day.
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of students at all times, following safeguarding procedures.

Professional Skills and Attributes:

• Experience working with children or young people with ASD and other SEND.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships.
• Patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for inclusive education.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• A full UK driving licence is highly desirable due to the schoolandrsquo;s location and student transport needs.
