We''re currently supporting a leading civil engineering contractor on a major infrastructure scheme in West Yorkshire, and are looking to engage an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor on a contract basis.

This is a site-based role on a complex, live project, offering the opportunity to take ownership of key work packages within a collaborative delivery environment.

As a Senior QS, you''ll play a key role within the commercial team, taking responsibility for the commercial management of sections of work within a cost reimbursable / NEC contract environment.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Full commercial ownership of assigned packages
• Cost reporting, forecasting and CVRs
• Management and assessment of Compensation Events
• Subcontract procurement, administration and final accounts
• Ensuring compliance with contract processes and cost mechanisms
• Working closely with operational teams to drive commercial performance

• Proven experience operating at Senior QS level within civil engineering or infrastructure
• Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts (cost reimbursable / target cost essential)
• Experience managing packages independently on live projects
• Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills
• Comfortable working in a site-based environment
