Live in care professional-Havering900 per week plus -50 food allowance

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support clients with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in condition.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship.
• Implement behaviour management techniques as needed to ensure a safe environment.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional.
• Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Foster a supportive relationship with clients and their families, ensuring open communication.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a caregiving role or nursing home setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of first aid principles and practices is advantageous.
• Experience in dementia care or working with individuals with cognitive impairments is beneficial.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients of varying backgrounds.
• Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility challenges.
• A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Flexibility in working hours to accommodate client needs.
