As a fast-growing, mission-driven organisation, we are building a high-impact Strategy and Operations team to help us scale quickly and sustainably with confidence and conviction.
Responsibilities
Project Leadership and Execution:
Lead the end-to-end delivery of key strategic initiatives and special projects. You will be responsible for developing and managing comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and on budget.
Risk and Dependency Management:
Proactively identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, and work with stakeholders to develop and implement effective mitigation strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Facilitate project meetings, manage communication, and coordinate with stakeholders across different functions (e.g., Product, Marketing, Technology) to ensure alignment and remove roadblocks to execution.
Stakeholder Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related communications, providing regular and clear updates to the Strategy Manager and other key stakeholders on project status, milestones, and risks.
Operational Excellence and Capability Building:
Beyond managing your own projects, you will be a leader in building a culture of operational excellence. This includes upskilling and mentoring junior Project Managers, introducing a standardised project management toolkit, and bringing in new frameworks and best practices to improve project delivery across the organisation.
Qualifications
Experience:
4+ years experience in an operational or Project Manager role, with a track record of successfully leading complex, cross-functional projects from inception to completion.
Project Management Methodology:
A strong understanding and practical experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Problem-Solving and Structured Thinking:
A talent for breaking down complex strategic goals into simple, manageable project tasks and translating them into clear plans.
Risk and Stakeholder Management:
Exceptional skills in identifying, tracking, and mitigating project risks, as well as managing the expectations of diverse stakeholders.
Communication and Presentation Skills:
The ability to clearly and persuasively communicate project status, risks, and plans to both technical teams and senior leadership.
Commercial Acumen:
A strong understanding of business fundamentals and the ability to connect project outcomes to strategic and financial goals.
