Working closely with the Managing Director and Operations Director, this is a hands-on role in a growing business, suitable for a commercially minded Financial Controller comfortable operating at both strategic and transactional level.Key ResponsibilitiesFull ownership of day-to-day finance operationsMonthly Management Accounts (PandL, EBITDA, cash flow)Cash flow forecasting and banking reconciliationYear-end audit liaison and statutory account preparationSage 50 Cloud maintenance (journals, VAT, reconciliations)Commercial support: tender pricing, costing and contract renewalsHMRC liaison: VAT, Corporation Tax, PAYEDirectors'' dividends, pensions, loans and EMI scheme oversightInsurance renewals, Companies House filings and complianceHR oversight (working in tandem with the external HR consultancyLine management of finance teamSkills and ExperienceFully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)Proven Financial Controller or Finance Manager looking to make their next step Strong UK accounting and double-entry knowledgeSME / owner-managed business background preferredSage 50 exposure desirableCommercial, hands-on and detail-drivenThis role off
