The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well-known and industry-leading client based in the Hemel Hempstead area. We are looking for multiple HGV Drivers to join the team.

Shift:

• Class 1 and Class 2 available.
• Days - Across Monday to Sunday (weekend included).
• Nights- Sunday to Friday (Sunday''s and Fridays included).

Pay Rate:

Class 2:

• Days - -15.14 per hour PAYE.
• Nights - -17.42 per hour PAYE.

Class 1:

• Nights - -18.86 per hour PAYE.

Job Type:-Ongoing with the opportunity for permanent / permanent role from day one available for nights

The role:

• Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.
• Handling runs with 1-2 stops, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
• Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck.
• Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence with Class 2 / Class 1 entitlement.
• Valid and in date CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on a licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A safety-first mindset.The role:
• Working set shifts with a rota planned in advance- afters or nights.

• Handling runs with 4-5 stops, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
• Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck.
• Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.

• Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
