It features modern workspaces, a state-of-the-art auditorium, an onsite restaurant with sustainability in mind, a rooftop terrace, and onsite gym facilities and a medical centre.Role Description:The Credit Risk Officer (CRO) role is a senior analytical and strategic resource within the Special Assets Group (SAG), supporting SAG Senior Portfolio Officers (POs) in managing a criticized/classified commercial loan portfolio. This includes structuring and underwriting credit facilities, providing financial and collateral analysis, drafting credit approvals, asset quality forecasting, monitoring covenant compliance and adherence to regulatory requirements.This role is suited for an experienced credit professional with strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage complex credit situations. Over time, the CRO may assume responsibility for a portfolio of less complex relationships within the SAG EMEA/APAC team.Responsibilities

Provide analytical support to SAG POs in developing and executing loan workout, restructuring, and recovery strategiesPrepare credit approval packages, risk rating analyses, asset quality forecasts, and restructuring recommendationsMonitor covenant compliance, borrower performance, and collateral adequacyParticipate in client meetings, negotiations (as appropriate), and strategy sessions with internal/external stakeholdersContribute to regulatory reporting, internal audits, and governance processesParticipate in strategic projects to support business goalsBuild strong partnerships with internal partners, including Corporate Banking, Investment Banking, Legal, Risk, and FinanceDevelop and maintain a deep understanding of the product spectrum and portfolio at the client, industry, and macro level to assess risk and craft value added solutionsWhat we are looking for

Experience in commercial workout, credit risk management, or commercial loan underwriting related experienceStrong knowledge of commercial loan structures, corporate finance, and financial statement analysisFamiliarity with syndicated and agented loan structures, including multi-lender negotiationsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to produce clear, persuasive materials for senior audiencesProven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a high-pressure environmentExperience working in Corporate Workout, Leveraged Finance, Structured Credit, Distressed Debt Advisory, or a Restructuring team (bank, advisory, or buy-side)Experience with collateral valuation, liquidation analysis, and capital markets transactions related to distressed assetsProactive self-starter, motivated and with an aptitude to learn quickly under pressure in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage within tight deadlinesSkills that will help
